Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Latter Day Homestead Garden Planner (“the Service”), operated by Latter Day Homestead LLC, an Idaho limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service is a free garden planning tool that provides planting schedules, weather data, and garden design tools to help you plan and manage your garden.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

Planting dates are calculated from NOAA historical frost data and may not reflect actual conditions in any given year. Frost alerts are advisory only.

We are not responsible for crop losses, garden damage, or other consequences of relying on this tool.

This tool is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional agricultural advice.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

One account per person. Automated or shared accounts are not permitted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of your garden data, journal entries, and photos (“User Content”).

By using the Service, you grant Latter Day Homestead LLC a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access other users' data, or abuse the Service's APIs or infrastructure.

7. Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Latter Day Homestead LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us (currently $0 for the free tier).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
